    Word on the street is a lot of MD’s on the street have been secretly tapped on the shoulder and told they no longer will have a job at the end of this quarter. Has anyone heard this rumor? I’ve heard this from both BAC and MS bankers so I feel like it has to be somewhat credible…

    I agree, things are definitely weird here at my office. All our MD’s had a meeting with our group head today as well as had a special MD meeting. Something has got to be going on.

    I’m sure it has to be all the MDs that aren’t producing any business, all of them should have been laid off months ago.

    I’m hearing a lot of MD’s at BAC on all on the chopping block again. Lot’s of my friends are worried they are going to get clipped in the next round which is expected to take place in the next month or two.

    Citi, BNP, Credit Suisse all announcing more cuts.
    UBS & BAML are having special meetings this week to discuss strategic restructurings to the firms.

    Scary time for MDs.
